Hi there!

My name is Liz Donehue, and I'm the Operations Manager for Sulit Press, an Austin-based publishing house that helps women share their stories and become published authors.

We're planning the Sulit Story Summit in January 2027, a day-long gathering celebrating women's stories, ideas and voices. The event will include the launch of two new books featuring approximately 25 women authors, along with author panels, conversations, interactive experiences, book signings and opportunities for attendees to connect throughout the day.

We expect approximately 100–150 women to attend, including entrepreneurs, executives, thought leaders, creatives and other accomplished women from the Austin community and beyond. All proceeds from book sales will be donated to charity.

We're looking for a beautiful, welcoming space that feels special while giving us room to create a full-day experience. Ideally, we would have:

A main space for 100–150 guests with a stage for panels and speakers
One or more additional spaces for author photos, sponsors, interactive experiences or small workshops
Space for registration, coffee and refreshments
The ability to serve lunch on-site
AV capabilities including microphones, sound and projection

We're currently considering weekdays January 11–15 and would need access for approximately 8–10 hours, including setup and breakdown.

Because the Summit is centered on supporting and amplifying women storytellers and thought leaders, with book-sale proceeds benefiting charity, we'd also love to know if you offer community partnership, educational, charitable or off-season event rates.
